MUMBAI: Speed will take centre stage in a new programming stunt from Discovery International. The new global franchise will deal with the science and psychology of speed.
This will air across Asia, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa in November.
The four hour initiative has been dubbed Speed Week. The initiative will examine the factors that motivate people to move faster either on the ground or in the air. Viewers can enjoy car racing in Essex and Mexico as well as Formula One. The show will focus on drivers who visualise and analyse the psychology of speed.
One of the shows is Street Racing: A Night on Earth. It has been produced by Base Productions and filmed on location in Japan, England, Mexico and New York. It looks at street racing.
