MUMBAI: A Sri Lankan has shown himself to be the biggest fan of the idiot box. Suresh Joachim broke the Guinness world record for the longest time spent watching TV. He finished with 69 hours and 48 minutes
 
 

Joachim broke the previous record of 50 hours and seven minutes as part of Toronto network WABC-TV's Guinness World Record Breaker Week.
 
 

Media reports indicate that sitting on a brown leather couch, he watched nothing but ABC shows. There were a lot of passerbys outside the ABC studio in Toronto.
