MUMBAI: Cartoon Network will launch two new exciting CD ROM games for personal computers: Dexter's Laboratory's "Science Ain't Fair!" and The Powerpuff Girls' "Mojo Jojo's Pet Project", in India.
The games' aim is to provide children aged between three and 12 with unlimited hours of interactive fun and bring them closer to the world of Cartoon Network's popular characters.
Other features available on both titles include an in-game comic book and plenty of creative print-outs.
Dexter's Laboratory's "Science Ain't Fair!" and The Powerpuff Girls' "Mojo Jojo's Pet Project" will be available at Rs 799/- at all leading toy, music, software and entertainment stores in India, an official release says. The retail stores included in the deal are Planet M, Rhythm House and Crosswords in Mumbai; Planet M, Crosswords and Ebony in New Delhi; Music World and Kemp Fort in Bangalore; Lifestyle and Crosswords in Hyderabad; Landmark, Music World and Odyssey in Chennai and, Music World and Knoware in Kolkata.
"The launch of the Powerpuff Girls and Dexter's Laboratory video games is a significant move forward in our strategic mission of establishing Cartoon Network as an entertainment super-brand in India. The introduction of the video games is another Network initiative to extend the presence of our characters beyond television and into the lives of our consumers' said Indra Suharjono, vice-president and deputy general Manager of Turner Entertainment Networks Asia.
The games will be distributed by Milestone Interactive Software.
