MUMBAI: Percept Picture Company is ready with their latest offering on Sahara One - Hare Kkaanch Ki Choodiyan, which will be aired in the afternoon band from 25 July at 3.30 pm (Monday to Thursday).
Hare Kkaanch Ki Choodiyan is a tale of people and their myriad emotions. It is a story woven around powerful emotions of love, deceit, revenge, obsession and guilt. It revolved around a simple middle-class girl and her gradual transformation into a woman of great strength.
"Sahara One was interested in starting an afternoon band, and based on our discussions with Kumud Chaudhury, the programming Head - Fiction, Sahara One, we presented the concept of Hare Kkaanch Ki Choodiyan to her, and she thought it was ideal for the afternoon, " says Percept Picture Company business head - television Akhauri P Sinha.
The team feels the USP of Hare Kkaanch Ki Choodiyan is the narrative, which follows the unique pattern of a family drama spiced with elements of a thriller.
Percept Picture Company CEO Sunil Sahjwani adds, "Television is a thrust area for us, and we have grown substantially in the last six months. With Sahara One making waves in the evening with PPC's show, Dial One aur Jeeto, and with Woh Rehne Wali..., we hope Hare Kkanch Ki Choodiyan will also justify Sahara One's faith in the programme."
