MUMBAI: Eurodata TV, the international database of programmes and TV audiences has launched its new reference survey Eurodata TV Sport Insight. This survey which will be published three times a year, applies to all sport marketing players.
This will allow them to negotiate rights, to establish the most interesting sporting event or programme in terms of TV ratings or to advise their clients in search of efficient sport partnership.
Eurodata TV Sport Insight brings together main trends and key indicators in most European countries: Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK. Each report contains four main levels of information:
- A comparison of the TV sport programmes drawn between different national markets in terms of audience as well as coverage of sport events.
- A ranking of the most watched sports and sporting events, as well as a Top 10 of the best TV sport audiences.
- For the first time, a historical account will be made to allow the audiences comparison of major local sport events over the past three years.
- In addition there will be an overview of TV trends. This will allow the analysis of sport programmes performances in their national context.
Shortly, Eurodata TV Worldwide is coming out with a new report Rugby 1999 - 2003. This will provide the ratings of the main rugby competitions in the world. Another report called One sports year on TV in the world - 70 audio-visual landscapes will scrutinise the highest rated sporting events. It will be analysed by sport broadcasting consultant Richard Russell.
Yet another report called Football on television in the world : 1998 - 2002 will start from the 1998 World Cup to last years competition. In India, this had proved to be an effective launching pad for Ten Sports. The content will consist of audiences for the main competitions, from both international and regional areas, covering 20 countries over four years.
