MUMBAI: The weekly one-hour show on Star Plus, Kehta Hai Dil (KHD) in the last 17 weeks, has been the top rated programme 12 times in the 9 PM to 10 PM time band across all channels. In the last 4 months, the show averaged a rating of 9.6 TVR(in c&s households) Hindi speaking markets and peaked at 10.5 TVR.
KHD, the story of Karishma, who, her in laws believe is dead, but in fact is back as Naina to take revenge from her mom in law, Lalita and dad in law, Mayor. Karishma, a widow, is now fighting as a lawyer to save her childhood love, Dhruv who is framed for three murders. The viewers are waiting to find out how she gets the better of her enemies and whether she will be re-united with her first love Dhruv.
Besides the high ratings, KHD also claims to have a loyal audience as it regularly garners more than 60 per cent channel share in this time band. Touting a loyalty index of over 84 per cent, on an average, UTV's KDH seems to be throwing up a good concluding season.
