MUMBAI: The action adventure channel AXN, which was launched on 17 October, last year in Central Europe has doubled its distribution in the region to two million subscribers. The channel was launched with one million subscribers in Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania and Bulgaria.
AXN Central Europe general manager Tom Davidson says, "The significant growth in our distribution figures in Central Europe confirms AXN as the fastest growing global TV network."
Davidson was quoted in an official statement as saying, "HBO, our partner in distribution, has played a tremendous role in achieving this success in the region. We count on their expertise in continuing to make AXN the premiere destination for excitement and adventure."
