MUMBAI: Karishma - The Miracles of Destiny may have fallen flat on its face in the ratings game, but Sahara Manoranjan is continuing to find new ways to involve viewers in its programming.

It will air a live concert Tum Jiyo Hazaaron Saal on 28 September from 8 pm. Singers including Udit Narayan, Sonu Nigam, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Shanker Mahadevan, Adnan Sami and the Vikings will pay a tribute to the singer by rendering her hits, in their own inimitable style.

There will also be plenty of Bollywood glamour. Amitabh Bachchan, Dilip Kumar, Yash Chopra, Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai, Rekha will speak about the singer. A 50 piece elite orchestra will be conducted by Ranjit Barot, along with Taufiq Qureshi. Zakir Hussain's troupe of first time tabla players will add their touch to the show. Deputy PM L K Advani will also felicitate the Nightingale of India.
