MUMBAI: Zee Telefilms has appointed popular fashion personality Lubna Adam as the creative director of Zee Trendz, the fashion and style channel. Adam will take over in her new role from 2 May.

Lubna Adam has directed and choreographed mega events and fashion shows including Miss World, Lakmé India Fashion Week, Femina Miss India, World Gold Council Jewellery Design Awards and Smirnoff Design Awards.

Says Zee Telefilms CEO Pradeep Guha, "We are pleased to have Lubna on the Zee Trendz team. She has a lot to add to the channel with her vast experience in the fashion industry and will definitely be a positive addition to the channel."

Lubna Adam started off as a model in 1983. After making her mark in the modelling world, she moved on to choreographing and directing events all over the world. She has worked with reputed brands like Elite, de Beers, Ensemble, Raymonds, as well as reputed designers like Abu Jani - Sandeep Khosla, Tarun Tahiliani, Neeta Lulla and Manish Malhotra.
