MUMBAI: US media conglomerate Time Warner has announced that Carol Melton has joined the company's senior management team as executive VP global public policy.
Reporting to Time Warner chairman and CEO Richard Parsons, Melton will oversee Time Warner's domestic and international public policy operations, including offices in Washington, D.C., London, Brussels and Hong Kong. She will be based in Washington.
Melton returns to Time Warner after serving for eight years at Viacom, most recently as executive VP, government relations. Melton served as a VP in Time Warner's public policy office and as a counsel to Warner Communications from 1987 to 1997.
