MUMBAI: For the second consecutive year, Raven, star of Disney Channel's hit series That's So Raven, won the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice award for the favorite TV actress.

Last month, Raven also bagged the NAACP Image Award in the Outstanding Performance in the Youth/Children's Program category for the second consecutive year.

That's So Raven is Disney Channel's highest rated series with kids 6-11, tweens 9-14, households and total viewers and across all basic cable television, the number one series with female tweens 9-14. It is also the number one program among the broadcast networks on Saturday, season-to-date, among girls 6-11 and female tweens 9-14, informed an official release.

Disney Channel executive vice president (original programming and production) Gary Marsh said, "We warmly congratulate Raven, a true phenomenon and role model for kids everywhere."

"This award is really special because it comes from the kid and tween fans that have made the series a hit," said Raven.

Raven can also be heard as the voice of Kim Possible's friend Monique in the series Disney's Kim Possible and this week's Disney's Kim Possible Movie: So the Drama. A talented singer, Raven provided the singing voice of the Playground Monitor in an episode of Higglytown Heroes, a hit series on Disney Channel's Playhouse Disney Block.

Raven starred in the Disney Channel Original Movie The Cheetah Girls, which was basic cable's top rated movie of 2003.

That's So Raven is televised daily 5 pm on Disney Channel on weekdays and 2 am on weekends.
