MUMBAI: Spin, India's 24-hour radio station dedicated to showcasing the hottest international rock and pop hits on the WorldSpace Satellite Radio network, is bringing the Campus Rock Idols exclusively on radio with a host of special programming.

The Shack, the show on Spin, will air every Monday from 8 pm to 9 pm till 26 December 2005.

An official release states that, WorldSpace also awards outstanding talent at each regional show by presenting a band with the title of 'Top Spinner' and an exciting gift hamper. Spin will feature an exclusive interview with the Top Spinner of each region and play their winning performances on air.

In addition, Spin's popular RJ Pearly will host the Campus Rock Idols finale concert in Goa on 16 December.

Campus Rock Idols is a countrywide inter-college music contest, participated by college bands across India. The competition will culminate on 16 December with a grand finale in Goa.

The winner of the competition gets a lifetime opportunity to share the stage with the inspiring International Rock bands- 'The Rasmus', 'Linkin Park', 'Limp Bizkit' and 'Oasis' in addition to cash prizes and multimedia equipment, the release adds.
