DELHI: An inter-ministerial meeting today discussed technical issues relating to Ku-band transmission.

During the time of filing this report, though much of details were not available of what transpired at the meeting, however government sources did admit that certain matters related to bandwith and transponder capacity were discussed.

Among those who attended the meeting included representatives of Department of Telecom (DoT), Information and Broadcasting (I&B) ministry and the Department of Space (DoS). Sources admit that Space TVs DTH application was not discussed during the course of the meeting.
