MUMBAIi: Establishing yet another milestone on the journey of peace between India & Pakistan, DS Group - a Rs 7000 million conglomerate, celebrated its 75 years with 'Pass Pass Sarhadon Ki Jugalbandi'. The event, essentially was a gathering of revered musicians across the two nations will air on the ETC Channel on 3 July.
Legends of the likes of Gulzar, Sufi singer Kailash Kher, fusion music band Indian Ocean were in 'Jugalbandi' with Pakistani Poet Farhat Shehzad, Rahat Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan (nephew of legendary Sufi & gawwal singer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan) and Fuzon - rock band of Pakistan.
On this occasion, the President of DS Group, Mr. Ashok Agarwal gushed, " Roots of India and Pakistan stem from the same ethos and culture. I would like to thank these artists for taking the initiative to bridge the gap and applaud their efforts in making the Pass Pass Sarhadon Ki Jugalbandi a reality."
A laser beam show marked the occasion essaying peace, friendship and brotherhood.
The event was organized by Live 1 and was supported by Times International Card, Radio Mirchi and ETC Network.
