MUMBAI: They're back. MTV Hero Honda Roadies 2 is all set for another bikers' trail.
Roadies 2 kicks off today with the seven lucky winners biking their way from Kolkata to the Wagah Border on a 35-day journey covering more than 2,000 kms. Roadies 2 kicks off on 21 August, testing the limits of endurance of the seven adrenaline junkies (four boys and three girls) both physically and emotionally. The show airs Monday and Tuesday at 7:30 pm.
The Roadies team will be attending a 'ride safe' workshop specially conducted by Hero Honda at the Nicco Park in Kolkata, before the seven embark on their roller coaster voyage. The workshop would impart training on safe riding techniques; the safety instructors trained by Honda Motors Safety Driving Promotion Centre, Japan.
Accompanying the team on their expedition and weaving the story around the seven Roadies, will be friend, confidante and source of encouragement, the most popular Roadie of 2003, Rannvijay.
The reality camera capturing their joys, sorrows, love, hate, betrayal, agony and ecstasy across this journey will be encapsulated in 26 episodes.
MTV Hero Honda Roadies 2 is presented by Hero Honda in association with Nokia, SF Jeans, Mountain Dew, Parle Hide n Seek, Education partner Rai University, connectivity partner Hutch and radio partner Radio Mirchi.
