Scientific Atlanta has introduced Integra5 Communications, the latest application developer in its CreativEdge Developer Program.

Cable operators can offer consumers this program over the Explorer set-top platform using the Integra5 caller ID application, a company release says. This new application allows cable subscribers to view caller ID information from their TV screen, without leaving their chair.

This feature is the first of a variety of telephony services Integra5 envisions for broadband deployment on Scientific-Atlanta Explorer set-tops.

The application is slated to be demonstrated at the SCTE Show from 5 June to 7 June in San Antonio, USA.
