MUMBAI: The 44th AGM of the Cine & TV Artistes Association was held on 13 October. Veteran actor Amrish Puri was re elected as president of the organisation.
The function was presided over by Puri. The general secretary Dharmesh Tiwari spoke on the arrangements made with the major television channels like Star Plus, Zee TV, Sab TV to resolve problems that the industry is facing.
Various artistes from the big and small screen were felicitated. They included Saira Banu, veteran televisuion artiste Goga Kapoor. Tabu was honoured for winning the best Actress National Award for the film Chandni Bar. Her costar Atul Kulkarni was also felicitated.
