MUMBAI: Radio Mirchi in the cities of Ahmedabad, Indore and Pune has moved to a common frequency of 98.3 FM, following the changes made earlier this year in Bangalore, Jaipur and Hyderabad, completing a pan India frequency for the radio station.
The station has also converted the earlier format of 18 hrs of programming content in Ahmedabad, Indore and Pune to 24 hours, much like what was adopted in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Jaipur and Hyderabad.
In addition, Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM has introduced special contest based shows and games in the three cities. With round the clock programming, Radio Mirchi promises to entertain and informs audiences with contemporary music, city happenings, Bollywood gossip, special interviews, exclusive film promotional tie-ups and lots more, informs an official release.
The radio station is currently operational in 10 cities and is targeting to spread across 32 cities by end of 2007. Radio Mirchi was earlier operational on 98.4 FM in Indore, 93.9 FM in Pune and 91.9 FM in Ahmedabad.
