MUMBAI: Star Vijay’s flagship show Super Singer is back. With its past seasons, the reality show touched and changed many lives and brought limelight to hundreds of budding talents who are now renowned singers worldwide.

For the first time, the inaugural episode of Super Singer season eight is going to be a massive back to back nine-hour-long affair starting from 11 am till 8 pm on 24 January. Super Singer has always had great response and reciprocation from viewers. So this season is going to see a grand launch with legendary musicians taking part and greeting the new set of contestants.

Super Singer season eight launch episode was well attended by industry stalwarts such as Hariharan, Shankarmahadevan, Vijay Prakash, Vijay Yesudas, SPB Charan, Karthik, Sid Sriram, Saindhavi, Shashah Tripathy, Grace Karunas, Chinnaponnu, Antony Dasan, Gana Bala, and Sakthi Sree Gopal, to name a few.  

After the grand opening episode on 24 January 2021 Sunday from 11 am onwards, the regular tune-in time would be every Saturday and Sunday at 9.30 PM.

The panel of judges for this season includes Anuradha Sriram, Unnikrishnan, Benny Dayal and Kalpana. The show will be hosted by none other than Priyanka Deshpande and Ma Ka Pa Anand.
