MUMBAI: The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) will be holding Open House Discussions (OHD) in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Kolkata on the consultation paper on the proposal for amendment to the tariff order on broadcasting and cable TV services.
The first OHD will be held in Mumbai on 18 January at the Presidential South Hall in Taj President Hotel from 11 am to 1:30 pm. This will be followed by the Delhi OHD on 19 January at the Banquet Hall in Hotel Ashok, Chanakyapuri. The session will be held from 11 am to 1:30 pm.
The Bangalore OHD is scheduled for 23 January from 11 am to 1:30 pm. The venue is Regency 1, ITC Windsor Sheraton & Towers, Sankey Road. At Kolkata, the discussion will be held on 25 January at the Crystal Hall, Taj Bengal, Alipore, from 11 am to 1:30 pm.
Trai, in an official release, has requested all the interested agencies / individuals to participate. The consultation paper is available on the Trai Website www.trai.gov.in. A gist of the comments received from stakeholders has been placed on the Trai website. Issues posed for public consultation will also be available at the venue of the OHD.
