MUMBAI: Looks like lifestyle channel Zoom, which celebrates the lifestyles of celebrities and happenings on the party circuit will have some company.

English general entertainment channel Zee Cafe in an effort to localise and broaden its offerings will focus to a degree on lifestyle and glamour.

This is being done through shows which will be rolled out systematically. The first of them is called After Hours. Hosted by model Nina Manuel, the show airs every Monday on Zee Cafe at 10:30 pm and on Zee Trendz every Tuesday at the same time.

Speaking to Indiantelevision.com on this Zee Cafe business head Neil Chakravarti says, "Viewers can watch coverage of some of the hippest parties around. One can watch the bold and the beautiful unwind and shake a leg. It will also focus on fashion through soundbytes from fashion icons."

"Viewers will be kept upto speed on the new trends and fashion mantras straight from those who start the trends. The show will also highlight the launches of the season. There will also be other aspects of lifestyle and other events that will be showcased," he adds.

Face Entertainment is producing the show and Lubna Adams is the creative director. Further information available with Indiantelevision.com indicates that the second show that will be rolled out in the coming weeks is a drama set in the world of the ultra-glamorous elites. The intimate lives and the glamorous lifestyle led by Bombay's glitterati will be on display.
