MUMBAI: Malayalam general entertainment channel has lined up various special shows to celebrate 15 August. The pick of the lot is an interview with Malayalam film's super star Mohanlal and an innovative travelogue show on Manasoravar.

Kicking off the proceedings is a documentary Making of a Nation at 6 pm. At 8 am, the channel will telecast an interview with popular actor Dileep. This will be followed by a music show anchored by film director Rajasenan.

The channel will telecast the travelogue show Kailasathuilekkum Manasarovarathilekum at 5:30 pm. The show is produced by Asianet Communications. The Mohanlal interview will air at 9 pm. The channel will also telecast popular movies 1921 and Harikrishnans to light up the occasion.
