MUMBAI: BAG Films' afternoon show on Star Plus Kumkum Pyaara Sa Bandhan has completed 500 episodes and to celebrate the joyous occasion, BAG Films managing director Anurradha Prasad hosted a party on 18 December. The production house also handles Khullja Sim Sim, which was earlier produced by Optymistix.
To top it all, their new reality based law and order drama Siddhanth on Star One has received a lot of critical appreciation.
BAG Films has received a lot of acclamation at the recently held Indian Telly Awards. Haqueeqat (Sahara One) was adjudged as the Best Programme of the year in a Single Episodic series and Best Programme with a special message categories at the same.
Haqueeqat was rightly the choice of the jury as it not only has set a benchmark for quality television programming but also reiterates what Prasad says --- "The production house has always believed in honesty, teamwork and has an eye for quality and substance, which has been possible only because I have a very talented team that consists of creative writers, sound technicians and a cooperative crew that works relentlessly."
Whether it is a game show (Khullja...) or soaps (Kumkum... and Dekho Magar Pyar Se), or realistic dramas (Haqueeqat and Siddhanth) or music shows (Har Dil Jo Love Karega), BAG Films has them all.
Moreover, their new show on Sony - Rihaee, which will be launched shortly, is a show on the lines of Bhanwar, based on real life cases and incidents.
