MUMBAI: Rainbow Media has appointed Gang TVs Gregory Ang as a consultant for Asia. The company is preparing to develop and launch its Voom HD channels in the Asia Pacific.

As had been reported earlier by Indiantelevision.com Rainbow HD Holdings, Mega Media and the Media Development Authority of Singapore (MDA) announced a partnership to create $20 million worth of HD programmes over the next three years.

Ang had set up Gang TV to help international broadcasters alunch channels across Asia. He said, "Asia's HD landscape is set to change with Rainbow's entry. An exciting plethora of HD content ranging from sports, health and lifestyle to fashion and the world around us is now within the potential reach of Asian viewers.
