MUMBAI: Shemaroo MarathiBana, a recently-launched marathi movie channel by Shemaroo Entertainment Ltd, has introduced an offering of kirtans under Anandwari and the channel will be airing a specially curated episode to celebrate the birth anniversary of lord Ram on the occasion of Ram Navami under the flagship ‘Anandwari Kirtan Saptah’.
The channel will have multiple episodes on kirtans based on the birth and life of lord Ram on his birth anniversary starting from 2 to 5 April 2020, every morning at 7 am. The series Anandwari was launched by the channel on Mahashivratri earlier and has aired 35 episodes so far. Bhargavi Chirmule - the popular Marathi TV and film actor, has been the host for the series and will be seen introducing the Ram Navmi special episodes to the audience.
Shemaroo MarathiBana signifies Maratha pride, and the channel aims to bring the content that depicts the rich Maratha culture. Anandwari, the devotional offering from Shemaroo MarathiBana will provide the audiences with spiritual content that will help in connecting them with lord Rama during this unprecedented time. The three-day special episode series will feature exclusive kirtans that celebrate the auspicious festival of RamNavmi. The kirtans performed by well-known kirtankar, Shri Charudatta Aphale Maharaj who perform these kirtans that revolve around lord Ram. Furthermore, the episodes will alse see live aartis from Panchdyvat Satwai Mata Temple, Baramati, Pune District.
