NEW DELHI: French Fashion TV has run into rough weather with the Indian authorities again. This time it has been denied membership to the Indian Broadcasting Foundation (IBF), an apex body with TV broadcasters and content providers as its members.
According to a report in The Financial Express, a pending court case between Modi Entertainment Network (which distributes FTV in India) and Doordarshan (DD) has been cited as the main reason for the rejection of FTV's memebership application. It may just be a matter of coincidence that DD CEO K S Sharma is the IBF president, it adds.
