MUMBAI: 15 French production and distribution companies are scheduled to attend The National Association of Programme Executives (NATPE) event that will take place from 18-20 January at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas.
TV France International is counting on the incipient economic recovery in the television industry to increase the number of French productions sold to Latin America and North America. French productions are bought for their quality, diversity and volume. Companies represented at the TVFI stand will include Fashion TV, Adventure Line Productions, France Television Distribution.
The US is the sixth largest consumer of French programmes and Frances fourth largest co-production and pre-sales partner. For French companies NATPE is the years first marketplace on the American continent. In early July they will be attending the Miami Showcase and a second showcase will be organised in New York City during the second half of the year.
The TVFI stand will also be promoting the 10th annual Rendez-Vous French TV Screenings. This will take place in Saint-Tropez from 6-10 September 2004.
