MUMBAI: The hitch in Thaicom transponder, which affected the transmission of some of the TV channels during the last couple of days, has been resolved.

Channels including Star News, Vijay TV, SS Music, Raj TV and ETC Music have resumed their normal transmission now.

The problem occurred on Sunday, 12 September from 11 pm to Monday 13 September 6 am and again on 13 September night for a couple of hours.

Star News managed to evade the Monday night's problem as the channel was shifted to an 'alternative arrangement' after Sunday night's disruption. According to Star News brand director Keertan Adhayantaya, Star News is now back on Thaicom since the error has been rectified.

A Vijay TV official told Indiantelevision.com that there hadn't been any interruption in transmission after the Monday night's disruption.
