MUMBAI: Nine out of 10 is good news, even if it is second time in row.
Zee Telefilm's Marathi arm Alpha Marathi, has its programmes bag the top nine slots on the rating charts, for the week that concluded on 27 September in Mumbai, across all Marathi channels. Viewers included individual above the age group of four years in C&S household.
In Maharashtra, Alpha Marathi has baged the top seven slots. While in Mumbai 23 programmes out of Top 50 slot are of Alpha Marathi's, says a company release.
According to Alpha Marathi senior vice president Nitin Vaidya, "The channel has consistently lived up to the expectations of its viewers. Today the success of all these programmes is the result of the strong relationship we share with our viewers. Their constant feedback has helped us in creating innovative programmes."
Avantika a daily soap about a woman's struggle for her rights against her own people, which airs from Monday through Friday at 8:30 pm, remains as the No.1 programme. While the weekly comedy Shri Gangadhar Tipare that airs every Fridays at 9:30 pm completed 100 episode and remains at number five in the slot.
The recent launch, Kya Baat Hai , a musical love story targeted towards the youth, has moved to the number three spot.
Also programmes like Vaadalvat, Jagavegali, Campus - A Fair War and Saheb Bibi Ani Mee regularly make there way in Top 25.
