MUMBAI: B.A.G Films Ltd has appointment Minnie Vaid as creative director. Her role will be to look at creative ideas of launching new shows, beginning from concept to finish.
B.A.G Films managing director Anurradha Prasad said, "We welcome Minnie in our organisation. With her expertise B.A.G Films will see a tremendous change in programming style and quality."
Prior to joining B.A.G Films, Vaid produced and directed several documentaries that were telecast in India in the national network including NGC and Discovery channel. These included films on women empowerment meditation and environmental issues.
Vaid has over 18 years of experience with organisations such as News Track of India Today group, Business India television and Star Plus.
She has also won national and international awards for her program Roots, telecast on BITV. Her stint with Star Plus was to reach out to a wider audience where she was in charge of several non-fictions and fiction shows and was also the commissioning editor for the network.
"B.A.G Films has already specialised in different kind of programming, which gives me an immense opportunity to consistently experiment with new formats and vast canvases," said Vaid.
