MUMBAI: Zee Media Corporation Ltd (ZMCL) has appointed a new distribution head in Hemlata Sharma. She will be looking after the distribution for all the 14 ZMCL channels including Zee News, Zee Uttar Pradesh Uttaranchal, Zee Madhya Pradesh Chhattisgarh, Zee Hindustan, Zee Salaam, Zee Punjab Haryana Himachal, Zee 24 Ganta, Zee 24 Taas, Zee Kalak, Zee Rajasthan, Zee Bihar Jharkhand, Zee Orrisa, Zee Business and WION.

Sharma started her career with Cosmic Software as a software engineer post which, she began her journey into the role of marketing and sales. With over 24 years of comprehensive experience, she acquired in-depth understanding of distribution business, marketing and operations of telecom, cable tv, channels & broadcasting. She has worked with leading brands like SITI, Zee TV, Zee Turner, Reliance and Bharti Airtel.

Her last assignment was with Taj Television India (Pvt) Ltd - (A Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd Group Company) as senior vice president – distribution (head retail - PAN India).
