CHENNAI: Tamil channel Raj TV will unveil its new logo at an event organised to felicitate director-producer K Balachander on 9 April in Chennai. The channel is organising the star-studded event in association with Rotary Club of Madras Central.
Raj TV is undergoing a complete makeover in terms of look and feel of the channel. From 14 onwards, the channel will start introducing the design changes, says Raj TV CEO Rajeev Nambiar.
"We are bringing changes in the look and feel of the channel. This will include a new logo, new graphics and new colour schemes. The changes will be complete by mid May," he says.
As reported earlier, the channel had recently handed over its creative duties to the Chennai-based agency rmg David. Nambiar said the Mudra's OMS would remain as the channel's media partner.
Apart from the design changes, Raj TV will be introducing new properties to boost the programming department in April. The channel is launching a soap titled Mundani Mudichu this month for the 9 pm slot. Raj TV will telecast Tamil blockbuster film Arrasatchi on 14 April, which is the Tamil New Year day. It has also lined up Friday blockbusters starring Dr. Shivaji Ganeshan for the month.
