MUMBAI: Star's Tamil language channel Vijay TV has announced the launch of a supernatural show titled Kathu Karuppu. Paranormal beliefs, myths and legends are fictionalised for TV and the show is presented by an anchor.

The anchor narrates the story introducing the characters and the basic plot. The show unfolds with critical pieces being dramatised and re-enacted realistically leaving an open end for the viewers to believe it or not.

Kathu Karuppu will be anchored by popular Tamil TV actor Karthikeyan.

Kathu Karuppu will launch on 17 January. The Monday to Thursday show will air at 10:30 pm.
