MUMBAI: Star Plus takes out yet another new show called Kuch Kar Dikhana Hai from its kitty at 8:30 pm tonight. The programme, slated to be India's first attempt at a variety show will showcase never seen before performances of talented singers, dancers, acrobats and fire-eaters.
The new show will also bring hidden talents of television stars who have become household names into the spotlight.
"The show is based on a novel concept wherein the viewers will also get an insight into the lives of their favourite television stars, their family, aspirations and the milestones achieved by them. The viewers will get to see celebrity stars like Jaya Bhattacharya and Urvashi Dholakia dance to their favourite numbers. We also have a never seen before magic show for each episode," says Star Plus VP programming Tarun Katial .

The show hosted by Husain and Shonali Malhotra will present a battle of sexes as the participants get divided into girls' and boys' team and build their scores through their performances. The celebrity judge will decide the 'Star talent of the Week' who would be awarded with a trophy and various other prizes.
Interestingly, the celebrity judges too will put their own talent to test by performing in front of the audience.
The programme is co-produced by Star Plus and Optimystix and directed by Vipul Shah and Sanjeev Sharma. So far eight episodes of the show have been shot.
