MUMBAI: A one of its kind historical comedy Har Mushkil ka Hal-Akbar Birbal is all set to hit the small screens. To be aired on Big Magic the show will be telecasted at 9:00 pm each weeknight. Popular Indian comedians like Kiku Sharda, Delnaz Irani, Vishal Kotial and Kishawar Merchant have been roped in to tickle the audience’s funny bone.
The well known folklore characters, Akbar and Birbal have been extremely popular with the kids for their combined wit and wisdom. This appeal still has a strong presence and it is this presence which Big Magic plans to present in a fresh, never seen before avatar. Produced by Meenakshi Sagar, popular actor Kiku Sharda will be seen essaying the role of Emperor Akbar while Delnaz Irani will be playing his lady love and wife, Jodha. The role of Birbal will be played by Vishal Kotial, while Kishwar Merchant plays the role of a courtesan madly in love with Birbal. Their existing fan base and comic timing will serve both as a visual and comic treat, simultaneously.
