MUMBAI: Xiaomi Mobile has brought in Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif as the product endorser for its new Redmi Y series in India.

Xiaomi vice president and managing director Manu Jain said, “The Redmi Y series is designed for people who need a smartphone that can complement and enhance their everyday routine and lifestyle. Alongside the new series of phones, Xiaomi also unveiled the global version of MIUI 9, the latest upgrade to its popular Android-based operating system, which includes several new features designed for India.
