MUMBAI: As things are gradually opening after two months of lockdown, people are finding new ways to stay safe and yet work. News organisations are working round the clock to make sure people get right information about Covid2019 and other happenings.

Times Network has come up with a unique idea to ensure safe travel. The company is using a well-sanitised and hygienic fleet for its employees by providing compartmentalised vehicles.

Times Network head - corporate communications Hina Jafri said, "As we continue to tread the Covid2019 pandemic, it is imperative that we reimagine and reinvent the way we move ahead with our lives and businesses. We firmly believe that every challenge presents an opportunity, and these are a few innovative solutions under our 'livethenew'. As we gradually start to step out and embrace the new world, it is even more critical we continue to practice social distancing and safety measures. Our employee’s safety is of paramount importance to us and we are ensuring we secure theirs and their families’ safety by encouraging usage of personal cars and also providing safe travel facilities across all our locations.”

The network has also initiated various other initiatives like safety tips, do’s and don'ts guidelines, regular HR interface, dedicated doctor on call and dedicated counselling service to help its employees on emotional wellbeing.
