Turner International Asia Pacific, which manages the services TCM, Cartoon Network, CNN and HBO in Asia and in India, has appointed two senior executives to help it in its further expansion and penetration in these markets.
Robert Gilby, who has been named executive director of business development, comes in from PricewaterhouseCoopers‘ (PwC‘s) Technology, InfoCommunications & Entertainment Group where he was senior manager e-business. Cynthia Hsu takes over as director of business development. She joined Turner from Time Inc in New York, where she was a sales development manager, developing multi-media and integrated sales and marketing programs to maximize advertising revenues for the Sports Illustrated (SI) franchise, including CNNSI.com, SI for Women and SI for kids.
