MUMBAI: Charlie and Lola will soon be delighting children across Asia following distribution deals secured by the BBC's commercial arm, BBC Worldwide.
Charlie and Lola has been sold to RTM (Malaysia), TV12 (Singapore), TVB (Hong Kong) and EBS (Korea). BBC Worldwide GM for Asia, Nic van Zwanenberg said, "The charms of Charlie and his little sister, Lola, are irresistible and have universal appeal for children everywhere. It is clear that Charlie and Lola is fast becoming an international phenomenon."
Charlie and Lola has already sold to 21 broadcasters around the world and BBC Worldwide expects to sign up new broadcasters at BBC Showcase and MIP TV in the coming weeks.
