MUMBAI: No changes were observed in the Bengali, Bhojpuri, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu segment in BARC data week 17. In the Malayalam market, Kochu TV emerged as the new player by replacing Asianet Movies as compared to the previous week. Fakt Marathi and Zee Marathi interchanged their first and second positions respectively, in the Marathi space.

Bangla

No changes were observed in this segment. Zee Bangla, Star Jalsha and Jalsha Movies retained their first, second and third positions respectively. Sony Aath and Aakash Aath swapped their fourth and fifth positions respectively as compared to the previous week.

Bhojpuri

No changes were observed in the Bhojpuri space. Bhojpuri Cinema, Big Ganga and Dabangg stood at first, second and third positions respectively. Bhojpuri Dhamaka Dishum and Oscar Movies Bhojpuri secured fourth and fifth positions respectively.

Kannada

No changes were observed in this market also. Zee Kannada, Colors Kannada, Udaya TV, Udaya Movies and Star Suvarna also managed to hold on to their first, second, third, fourth and fifth positions respectively.

Malayalam

Asianet maintained its first position in the Malayalam segment, followed by Mazhavil Manorama, Flowers TV and Surya TV that also retained their second, third and fourth positions respectively. On the fifth position, Kochu TV emerged as the new player by replacing Asianet Movies as compared to the previous week.

Marathi

Fakt Marathi and Zee Marathi interchanged their first and second positions respectively. Colors Marathi, Zee Talkies and Star Pravah continued to be on third, fourth and fifth positions respectively.

Tamil

No changes were observed in this area. Sun TV, Zee Tamil, Star Vijay, KTV and Star Sports 1 Tamil retained their first, second, third, fourth and fifth positions respectively.

Telugu

No changes were observed in the Telugu space. Star Maa, Zee Telugu, ETV Telugu, Gemini TV and Star Maa Movies continued to be in first, second, third, fourth and fifth positions respectively.
