MUMBAI: The 3rd annual International Film Festival Ahmedabad (IFFA) that was scheduled to begin on 6 October has been shifted to New Delhi.
Commented IFFA festival director Shiladitya Bora. "Unfortunately, we have been forced to be in a position by external factors that we can’t hold a film festival in Ahmedabad anymore. This decision has happened in circumstances that are beyond our control now. We did all, even beyond our capacity to make the film festival happen in Ahmedabad only."
The film selection, schedule, workshops and events in the festival will remain unchanged.
The new schedule of the festival will be out soon. The festival is to be supported by PVR Cinemas in New Delhi.
