MUMBAI: 'Barriers to Economic Growth' and strategic thought on how the hurdles to India's economic growth can be surmounted will be the spotlight issues discussed in the forthcoming fifth session of CNBC India's Managing India Brainstorm (MIB) forum.
CNBC India, in partnership with Wipro Infotech and Sun Microsystems will host the corporate forum at the Taj Mahal Hotel in south Mumbai on 4 October.
MIB - V will provide a platform to identify problem areas, bridging the gap between policy and on-ground realities. The other topics to be discussed include public-private partnerships and collaboration between the corporate sector and state governments to create and drive growth and the development of a blueprint for growth in the present environment. This executive forum aims to create a balance and comprehensive view of the state of India's industry and economy and concomitant issues, an official release states.
Brainstorm, a confluence of the best minds from diverse streams of industry and business will feature Chattisgarh chief minister Ajit Jogi, Godrej group chairman Adi Godrej, Hero Honda chief executive officer Pawan Munjal, Larsen & Toubro chief executive officer and managing director A M Naik, Shell India chairman Vikram Singh Mehta, Cummins chairman Ravi Venkatesan and SCI chief managing director P K Srivsatava as initiators.
